VDH Postponed Due to COVID-19

Over the last couple weeks, members of the VDH7 Organizing Committee met with all League of Chapters Presidents to assess the current situation and set a way forward for our highly anticipated VDH7. Given the current climate regarding COVID-19 and the guidelines set forth by health officials and government leaders, it is in the best interest and safety of our members, and their families that VDH7 Organizing Committee has unanimously voted to postpone the convention to the following year.

With concurrence from the National Leadership Council and after consulting with Camps Glorieta, the VDH7 Organizing Committee hereby officially announce the new VDH7 date; July 02-05, 2021; same location.

1. New Date & Time: 01:00PM Friday, July 2nd – 01:00PM Monday, July 5th, 2021 (Monday is observed as a holiday)
2. New Registration Deadlines: $215.00 by March 15th, 2021 and $250.00 after March 15th, 2021
3. New Absolute Deadline to Register: May 15th, 2021
4. New Refund Date and Policy: Those wishing to cancel from the date of this announcement to July 1st, 2020, will receive full refund. A $10 administrative fee per cancelled registration if cancelled between July 2nd, 2020 and May 15th, 2021. No refund after May 15th, 2021.

Our unique situation affords us more time for preparation to transform this convention to be greater than what it already is. With the registration deadline extended to the following year, the Organizing Committee will also extend all deadlines for VEYM heroes projects, various competitions and sports, scholarships, breakout sessions, and the many ways members can participate and join in on this life changing event. VDH7 Raffles: The VDH7 raffle drawings will take place as scheduled on the evening of July 4, 2020. More details regarding the live raffle drawings will be announced in the near future.
